Fragile seashore
These images were created on a visit to northern Norway, well above the Artic Circle.
I was stuck by the tenacity of life on this sparsely populated northern coast of Europe. Experiencing the picturesque yet tiny isolated communities of just 40 people. Witnessing the solitary plants striving to make the most of the available sunlight.
I was also struck by the impact of discarded manmade objects that litter the narrow boundary between land and sea. Objects that included discarded machines of war to washed up waste.
